It’s vacation week, so some folks have vacated the Bethel area to make room for everyone else. For those of you who stayed, you are getting walloped with winter! Organized activities are on hold until next Sunday when we come back to a very busy week. Besides skiing, we’ll be snowshoeing, gaming, bowling and wine tasting. Look forward to seeing everyone! It’s being developed by Inland Woods and will eventually go up Locke Mountain. It’s fairly flat and mostly woods. We can decide how far we want to go. There is plenty of parking and it’s plowed. Due to the change in schedule we have a few openings for the Wine Tasting available. First come, first serve! Wine Tasting Join us to experience grape varietals and blends that may be new to you. All wines are from the Good Food Store in Bethel to make it easy for you to find and share your favorites. Wine is always best when shared! Very light snacks served. Sunday River’s Prime Time Ski LessonsHard to believe that we’re finishing up the first session of ski lessons this week and getting ready for the second session after school vacation week. The price for the ski lessons is $180 for four, 2 hour lessons. We meet on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. near the slopeside firepit of South Ridge Lodge and then divide into groups based on ski ability. The dates will be February 25, March 4, 11, 18.If you are interested in participating, and since this is a special package that is not offered online, please email Brenda Saller at gb1saller@gmail.com. She collects the names to forward to the ski school. Once your name has been forwarded to the school, you will need to purchase the lessons package at the Snow Sports School. Mt. Tremblant The Prime Time Ski Club is going back to Mt. Tremblant Québec! The trip dates are from 16-23 March, 2025, and you choose how many days you want to stay and ski.
