Howdy folks,
Weather challenges. I think we have all seen, both first hand and pictures, what has happened at the River. They are getting it back together and intend to open Saturday (today). Loon and Sugarloaf are both open. It’s a road trip, but you can ski them.
Events. We have finalized the events calendar. Most all events are 2 weeks apart, with the added new Member meet and greet putting a couple events at one week apart:
January 4, pot luck at the First Parish Church in Bethel, corner of Church and Park St.
1 week later, January 11, new member meet and greet, Venue TBD
1 week later, January 18, game night at the Cascades common room
2 weeks later, February 1, pot luck at the First Parish Church in Bethel, corner of Church and Park St.
2 weeks later, February 15, game night game night at the Cascades common room
2 weeks later, February 29, pot luck, pot luck at the First Parish Church in Bethel, corner of Church and Park St.
2 weeks later, March 14, game night game night at the Cascades common room
2 weeks later, March 28, End of year dinner Venue TBD
Pot lucks and game nights begin at 5:30 PM.
Board meetings are at 4:30 just before the pot lucks.
The new member meet and greet starts for NEW MEMBERS and Board members at 4:30, while the rest of the club arrives at 5:30.
10 AM meet ups at North Peak. Many of us are blacked out on silver and bronze passes. Some will have gold passes and will be skiing with family. 10 AM meet ups may not happen at North Peak this coming week.
