Folks,
Snow. We’re getting a little snow and the river is making it. Watch out for wet snow guns that leave snow that’ll grab your skis. But it’s gonna get better!
Lessons. Now that we have the holidays behind us, we can all start focusing more on our skiing! Brenda is still taking names of those interested in taking the ski lessons through Sunday River’s ski school. The lessons will begin (for 4 weeks) on Tuesday, 17 January at 1:00 p.m. The cost is $119 for the 4-pack purchased in the ski school office before the first lesson. Movie night on Monday. Grab some friends and enjoy the movies at the Gem, Monday night.
Game night on Thursday at Cascades Common room, 5:30 PM. Join friends for a fun evening. Got a favorite game bring it along.. also heavy appetizers, snack food, etc to share — easy things to eat while playing games & of course BYOB.. remember no kitchen available.. will need extra tables & chairs let Bob know if you can help out.
To get to the Cascades Condo common room, go in the front center entrance, go to the door on the left, then go up the stairs one story and take the door on the right. That’s where we’ll all be!
Meet up with us. Some of us are booting up in the Mahoosuc room and across from the cafeteria at 8:30 AM. We also meet up at the North Peak Lodge at 10 AM, and we have been congregating near the gas fireplace.
