It’s finally December, we have made it through Thanksgiving. Sunday River is open and the hard core Prime Timers are skiing. Feeling almost normal.
What’s not normal:
YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR PASS BEFORE YOU GET TO THE LIFT
- Can and should be done online
- Rules for out of state visitors vary by state. Be respectful of the people of Maine, follow the rules, don’t be that jerk from “away”
- Lift lines, lodge access, food, bathrooms….
- If it’s all too much SR has extended the deadline to Jan 15th 2021 to roll over your unused pass to the 21/22 season
- Prime Time is pausing dues and organized indoor activities for the season. Pop up day ski trips, snowshoe, cross country, hiking adventures will be announced as they get planned. Newsletters will appear when we have something to say.
Any pending badge orders will be processed for 2021/2022
It’s a fluid situation so please visit the Sunday River site often for protocol updates and practice your patience everywhere you go… don’t be “that guy” whining about skiing hassles in a pandemic.
What is normal:
- Prime Timers are out there! Early season meetups will be outside the Waffle House at Barker 10am weekdays.
- Stor a Ski is open weekends only until full time operation on 12/11/2020. Prime Time members only season deal $95. First increase Doug has taken in 15 years. Give him a big thanks…save the hugs for next season!
