Howdy folks,
Why we ski! I recently attended a Warren Miller ski film. One thing I noticed about the skiers, was the smile on their faces. And I believe that is why we ski, we go home with a smile on our face!
Daily meet up at North Peak. Folks, we try to meet up at “about” 10 AM at North Peak. And we try to sit near the wood stove, but we do not have a reserved place there, and other people may, gasp!!! be sitting in “our” spot!!! Look for familiar faces and Primetime stickers that are on some of our helmets. If it’s a good skiing day, we may not rest long inside. If it’s a cold blustery day, relaxing with a coffee or hot chocolate may keep us inside longer. And then there is trying to schedule your arrival and the lift stopping or being slowed by wind…. Anyways, look for the friendly faces, those are ours!
Pot Lucks. We are interested in feedback in the West Parish Congregational church as the venue for our pot lucks. To those who attended, how did you find this to work out. To those who didn’t, would you consider attending a future pot luck there?
Events. We are finalizing a schedule of events for the season, pot lucks, game nights, dinners, etc… Look for them by the next newsletter and on our website.
Last call, Facebook Page. The page is slowly gaining use amongst our members to discuss daily events, and we’re posting Prime Time events there as a courtesy. We plan to make this page private early next week. We are now getting a bunch of people who are not affiliated with us requesting to join. Additionally, we have had some new members join the club, and the attempt to join the facebook page at the same time. If you were not yet on the member’s page, we declined your application. We apologize for this and ask that you try again, if you wish to join.

You’ll be asked 3 questions and if you agree to abide by the page rules. Once we verify this and that you are an actual club member, you will be accepted. The page is visible for now and the next couple weeks. After that we’ll make it a closed or private group. We don’t need to imitate the Sunday River enthusiast page. That is a fine group with plenty of good things there. This page is for Primetime activities amongst club members.
