Folks,
I had hoped against hope that I could tell you that I skied some trails at Jordan, but between the weather and a snow making gremlin, the slopes simply are not ready, with a good deal of grass showing through the snow. Most locals are holding out hope for skiing by next weekend, but sadly, forecasts are for temperatures in the 40’s and high 40’s for the upcoming week. Stay tuned for first reports of skiing available!!!
Barker chair. They have put the chairs on, which means it is spinning. I’m sure they have details to work on and assuring safe and proper operation, but work progresses! Based upon the snowmaking plan and trail opening schedule, Barker chair still has a ways to go. We’ll all be happily loading that chair soon enough!
Pot Luck December 14, 2023… 5:30 PM at West Parish Congregational hall, on the corner of Park and Church St in Bethel. We are renting this church. Entrance is the rear of the building downstairs. NO ALCOHOL or smoking on premises. Board meeting at 4:30 PM just prior to the pot luck.
Stor-A-Ski: Doug is generously again giving Prime Time Members at great discount to Stor-a-skis for the season…Fee $95.00 (same price as last year)….Will be open daily starting December 8th.
