Prime Time is a social group of skiers ages 50+, 150+ members. We are a ski club and more!
Skiing is both a recreational and a social sport.Prime Time Members find skiing and recreating with others to be a lot more fun than doing so alone. The club members ski together and so much more. Besides our daily meet ups on the mountain we also have many other activities such as:

• Sunday River’s Senior Week
• Sunday River Ski Lessons
• potluck dinners
• guest speakers
• game nights
• movie and bowling get togethers
• cross country and snowshoeing
• overnight trip to Tremblant Ski Resort
• trips to other local mountains such as Saddleback, Sugarloaf, Loon, Wildcat, etc.
• annual fall weekend and meeting
• new member meet and greet
• wine tasting
• year end dinner
• day hiking, bike and kayak trips
• member discounts at area businesses
• and more….

Prime Time’s members ski…..a lot. They ski at all levels with about 70-80% on blues or single black diamonds at any given time. A few cruise the greens and a few others explore double blacks. Our active skier ages range from 50 to 80 + years young. And we want to keep skiing as long as we can, so we encourage our member to keep taking lessons (there’s always something to learn) and stay in shape (with other activities). A couple of our members are PSIA certified current or former instructors; several are Maine Adaptive Skiing qualified trainers, and some ski with the Peak Performance Club on weekends. Our membership comes from all over, though most call New England home and most live near or on mountain all winter.

Members are primarily avid skiers, some who ski of 75-100+ days a year. Most members would tell you that the 10:10 AM meetings, besides being very social, also provide information on where to go, what to ski, and what to avoid. Many folks form small groups at the morning meet and head off to ski together. Many members also boot up in the South Ridge in the morning and many have lunch there around noon, too. Some just attend the social events with their skier partners.
