March is here and the skiing is fantastic!

Please note: our Pot Luck venue has changed. Pot Luck on March 6 will be held at the Bethel Historical Society-Moses Mason House 10 Board St. Parking allowed on Board St and Mason St and in back by the Bethel Event Center. Social & Appetizers 5:30, dinner 6:00 ish, there is a kitchen and alcohol is allowed on property.  Guest Speaker will follow dinner      
Will Chapman is the executive director of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society. Will studied Information and Library Science at the University of Maine at Augusta.  He became the MBHS archivist in 2015 and    its executive director in 2021. Will is from Greenwood, Maine, currently lives in Bethel and is the proud best friend of Eli, the golden retriever.

Sunday Snowshoe Sunday, March 2 at 1:30Don’t be afraid of the cold! Snowshoeing is much warmer than skiing. We have a special treat this week. Wende will be showing us all her favorite places. End of the Year Dinner
End of the Year Dinner is a prepaid dinner and check post mark by March 8 to provide numbers to restaurant. Thursday, March 27
Chamberlain Restaurant25 Hartford St Rumford, ME Social Hour 5:30-6:30 pm  (Cash Bar), appetizers, cheese , crackers & veggie platterDinner         6:30 -9:00 pm Plated salad (2 dressings)Buffet with the following:• Grilled chicken with gravy on the side• Parmesan crusted haddock• Steak Tips• Roasted red potatoes• Vegetable• Coffee and Tea• Assorted Desserts
Cost for members $40.00 and non members $45.00 ( includes tax & gratuities). PTSC will pick up cost for hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Your payment guarantees your spot. Remember the mail can be slow at times.

Special Event Friday, March 7
Our own member, metalsmith/jewelry maker Kyra Suwak, is participating in “The Dog Show” at The 3 Sisters Art Gallery in Gorham, NH in March. Opening reception is Friday March 7th 4 – 7 pm with wine & snacks. The Dog Show will remain up the entire month of March.  She is joined by 20+ other artists from the area – painters, woodworkers, stain glass, potters, and more!  All art is original work and is for sale.  It’s a free event and a great opportunity to meet the Owner/Artist Deidre Blair as well as the exhibiting artists.  Check out https://the3sistersgallery.com for more info and gallery hours.
