Skiing is both a recreational and a social sport.Prime Time Members find skiing and recreating with others to be a lot more fun than doing so alone. The club members ski together and so much more. Besides our daily meet ups on the mountain we also have many other activities such as:
Prime Time’s members ski…..a lot. They ski at all levels with about 70-80% on blues or single black diamonds at any given time. A few cruise the greens and a few others explore double blacks. A couple are PSIA certified current or former instructors; several are Maine Adaptive Skiing qualified trainers, and some ski with the Black Diamond Club on weekends. Our membership comes from all over, though most call New England home and most live near or on mountain all winter. Our active skier ages range from 50 to 80 +
Members are primarily avid skiers, some who log upwards of 75-100 ski days a year. Most members would tell you that the 10am meetings, besides being very social, also provide information on where to go, what to ski, and what to avoid. Many folks form small groups at the morning meet and head off to ski together. Many members also boot up in the Mahoosuc room at South Ridge in the morning and many have lunch there around noon, too. Some just attend the social events with their skier partners.
We also make arrangements with local businesses for member discounts at restaurants, ski shops, etc. and work with the Sunday River management to provide a few perks for our members like the Go50 Week events.
If you want to find out more we suggest you come join us any ski weekday at North Peak Lodge around 10 am and see if we’re right for you. There’s no pressure. Ski a few runs with some of us and see what you think. You can also contact us by email by sending a message to Contact@primetimeskiclub.com
Prime Time is a non-profit social group.
The Prime Time motto is “You never have to ski alone”.
Our Song
(Sung To “You’ll Never Walk Alone”)
When you ski down the hill,
Keep your head up high, And try to keep up with the rest.
Meet at 10 in the morn at the North Peak Lodge,
Where the 50 – plus crowd is the best.
Ski from Lallapalooza to Shock Wave and Back,
And expand your comfort zone.
Ski on, ski on, on green, blue and black, and you’ll never ski alone;
You’ll never ski alone.
