Club members gathered at Sunday River for our Annual Fall Meeting Weekend starting on Friday when club members joined hosts Nancy Botting and Suzie DuBois for a kayak/canoe trip at Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge in Errol NH. That evening we enjoyed a Pot Luck Dinner at the Jordan Grand Hotel and on Saturday, club members joined our bike leaders Steve and Lee Smith on a route designed to allow an easy ride (15 -20 miles) to Andover center for coffee and snacks. During the day, many members visited Bethel’s annual Harvest Festival on the common. In the evening we gathered at Mill Hill Inn and their famous Tapas Restaurant beginning with a social hour before we were treated to our Tapas evening that included a series of small plates shared over the course of the meal and ending with flourless chocolate torte. What a treat!!!!!
Sunday we held out annual meeting and heard from our Treasurer Jack Kuchta that we ended the year with a surplus. Members approved the report and a budget along the same lines as the previous year. Our Secretary/Social Chair Suzie Dubois thanked everyone for their support in organizing the weekend and our President Barb Richards introduced new members and gave a recap of the year.
