Bulletin – Events for January, 2014
My sincere apology goes out for not having the discounts and club events published in the December newsletter. I’ll try to get them onto the website as soon as possible once I have received the information. We are still waiting to hear from some of our ‘partners’. Many businesses don’t choose to offer discounts during ‘peak’ times like holiday weeks; please honor their business decisions. Some of them are seasonal and only have a short window of opportunity in which to make their profits.
We generally look for most discount programs to begin in January when most of our membership normally begins their ski season. We expect most of our former ‘partners’ to offer the same or similar discounts as last year. However, we are waiting to hear from everyone and the holidays are not the time to press them for answers.
I expect to have details on who our ‘partners’ are for this season, discounts offered, and the calendar of events before I send out the January newsletter. Remember to always tip on full prices (prior to discounts) when you go to a restaurant. We want the ‘partners’ staff to be happy when they see Prime Time members.
As a reminder, on the website you’ll see that e-mail addresses are modified; replacing the ‘@’ symbol with ‘at’ for safety purposes. When I send out club notices, I am using a dedicated google account set up specifically for PT distribution purposes; it’s best not to respond to this e-mail address. If you need to respond to me, please do NOT use primetimeskiclub at gmail.com. It’s best to use the e-mail addresses for the board listed on the website or in your membership directory.

January
- January 8th – Prime Time Demo Day & Lunch at Phoenix (8:30 – 3pm) Host: Sport Thoma manager Leigh. Cost $5 RSVP to hold a spot (207 824-2266). The golf cart at Phoenix will take you back and forth to the lodge; all equipment will be at Phoenix. Lunch is at noon.
- January 23rd – Beer Tasting at the Sunday River Brewing Co..Cost TBA RSVP to Suzie DeBois at suziecurves at myfairpoint.net or call cell 207 712-6661.
- January 27 – 30 – Go-50 Week Sunday River (details TBA).
- January 13th – New Members (3 years or less) Luncheon at Fall Line common room 11:30. Lunch by Frank’s Ristaurante – Cost TBA Host Jan Stecchi RSVP by Jan 5 to janstecchi at comcast.net; or (978) 835-5130 cell. This is a meet & greet between the board and ‘new members’ only.
- January 16th is our Pot Luck (at Summit owners lounge at 5:30 pm) Host is Marge Breen.

Our pot luck is Januray 16th at 5:30 at the Summit. Bring a dish to share for 6-8. Additional Dates are February 13 and March 13.
MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Upon joining Prime Time, you received a laminated membership card. KEEP THAT CARD; they are not issued every year. To obtain a new membership card (fee of $5) send a self addressed, stamped envelope to our membership chair, Anita Haskell at 8 Ruch Lane, York, ME 03909. Cards are required when using vouchers to buy lift tickets or when getting discounts at local restaurants or shops.
