SUNDAY RIVER’S PRIMETIME SKI CLUB NEWS

The weather outside is frightful, a little snow would be so delightful, so if there’s no place to go, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW. Ghessh.  Mom Nature, enough already with the sprng skiing.  We appreciate you keeping our heating bills down, but it’s winter.  We need a little snow pack for both skiing and water levels later on.  A little help please.

Sunday River continues to amaze considering we’ve only seen about a foot of snow this entire calendar year.  The mountain has about 100 trails open and continue to provide snowmaking when and where it’s needed. The groomers are doing a great job of keeping the snow moved to where we need it and stealing it from where we don’t.

Primetime has nothing planned during President’s week and many have taken their off-ski vacation.  While some members may be on the mountain, 10 am meetings will not be held.  Next up for members is a wine tasting event next Wednesday and a Snow Coach trip next Friday.

The Primetime Ski Club is an independent ski and social club welcoming anyone 50 and over.  They meet  weekdays at 10am at Sunday River’s North Peak Lodge to form daily ski groups based on ability, terrain, and social aspects.  Info at www.primetimeskiclub.com.
