PRIMETIME SKI CLUB NEWS
Seems every time we write “we need snow”, we get snow. Therefore, we need snow! Last week’s eight or so inches did great things as a topping on the fine base here at Sunday River. Another storm, as of this writing, should be bearing down on us right about the time this is printed. Is it too much to hope for two winter storms in the same week???
Groomed sking at the mountain has never been better and with the latest storm many of those bumps and glades which have been roped off most of the year are now ready for some action too. Primetime is back on the trails in earnest after our time off for President’s week. We hope and believe that many of the later school vacations from north and west will be joining us on the hill. With now well over 100 trails spread over eight peaks and a dozen plus lifts spinning, there’s plenty of room to accommodate everyone.
The Primetime Ski Club is an independent ski and social club welcoming anyone 50 and over. They meet weekdays at 10am at Sunday River’s North Peak Lodge to form daily ski groups based on ability, terrain, and social aspects. Info at www.primetimeskiclub.com.
