PRIME TIME SKI CLUB NEWS

The Prime Time Ski Club members were a cool group of skiers this past week, figuratively and literally, but a hard core group of skiers was there every day shrugging off cold toes and fingers, sticking on tow warmers, stuffing hand warmers into mittens and trekking over to the venerable triple lift to Spruce where the arctic wind is somewhat diminished.  There were no complaints from us.  The skiing was excellent.  The snow was groomed, dry and immanently carveable.  The skiing was often solitary, the lift chairs empty, creating the sensation that one was alone on a remote windblown mountain.  Those that skied had five great, if somewhat shortened, days of skiing accompanied by friends and hot cocoa at lunch.  When (and if) the weather warms up this coming week, we are all going to feel slightly crowded on the Sunday River slopes.

Our website is www.primetimeskiclub.com . The Primetime Ski Club is an independent ski and social club welcoming anyone 50 and over. We meet weekdays at 10 AM at Sunday River’s North Peak Lodge to form daily ski groups of members based on ability, terrain, and social aspects.
