PRIME TIME SKI CLUB NEWS
The Prime Time Ski Club enjoyed a fun week last week in spite of the challenging weather and ski conditions. Sunday River threw a five day party for the Over Fifty crowd, and Prime Timers enjoyed every bit of it. We gathered at North Peak for coffee and cinnamon buns, at Barker for music and cocktails, tried out boots and skis on Demo Day and on and on. There were a host of activities all week to keep our minds off the fog, rain, hard pack and wind following Monday and Tuesday’s great skiing. The “hard pack” skiing took us all back to the 70’s when grooming the slopes was less of the art it is today. Remember, we really used to ski on that stuff, ahhh the good old days. Prime Timers look forward to improved ski conditions this coming week and will remember the generous hosting by Sunday River last week. We will forget the bane of skiing in the Northeast.
