Snowshoeing with Bob McQueeney

Right in the middle of the blackout days for Bronze passholders. Let’s plan to meet at 10 AM in the parking lot at the Appalachian Trail in Grafton Notch. This is the same parking lot used for hiking to Old Speck, the Eyebrow trail and Table Rock.

The table rock trail follows the AT for about a mile, then breaks off to the right for another 9/10 of mile to a nice overlook of the valley that Rt 26 runs thru. Elevation gain is just over 800 feet, trail length is 1 9/10 of mile each way. We should figure on about an hour and a half each way. Bring a snack or lunch to eat at the top. I intend to bring an extra T-shirt, since I’ll likely sweat up the one I am wearing going up.

This is weather permitting, of course. Sub zero temps and high winds, we’ll cancel. Hopefully, we’ll have a nice bluebird day!
